Bridge of Dreams is an epic musical work celebrating the creative dialogue between an exceptional group of musicians from India and Australia: Sandy Evans (composition/musical director/saxophone soloist), Shubha Mudgal (composition/voice), Aneesh Pradhan (composition/tabla), Sirens Big Band (led by Jessica Dunn), Sudhir Nayak (harmonium), and Bobby Singh (tabla). The work is co-composed by Sandy Evans, Aneesh Pradhan and Shubha Mudgal.
"The trio has sparked a new raft of material from Evans, who beyond her prowess on tenor and soprano, has long been a pre-eminent composer. These pieces exemplified a strength of hers which is all the more valuable in the trio context: the sheer breadth of her compositional ideas." Sandy Evans trio, Reviewed by John Shand, SMH 9/7/01
“… a composition of immense depth, humanity and expression.” – Hilary Shrubb, The Australian, 18 January 2002
