The cathollics is doing our first show of 2024 early next month, at the Foundry on Saturday the 10th of February.

We welcome back percussionist Adem Yilmaz. If you haven’t heard Adem with The catholics yet, make a point of coming down to this one. His eastern textures and intricate fingerwork are truly something to behold.

We’re also delighted to have back on drums the purveyor of one of the greatest grooves in Australia, Mr Nic Cecire.

Then you’ve got Sandy Evans (saxophones), Gary Daley (piano accordion, melodica), Julian Curwin (guitar, banjo), James Greening (trombone, trumpets, asides) and Lloyd Swanton (leader and bassist).

We’ll be playing all our amazing recent repertoire (including two great new tunes we only debuted at the Foundry late last year) interspersed with a few golden oldies.
