This time\, we’re featuring an emerging new talent – the prodigiously gifted Lee Orszaczky on trombone. At just 21 years old and in his third year at the Conservatorium\, Lee is more than ready to step into James Greening’s large shoes. Come down and check out this brilliant young player! \nAs an added bonus\, we have two regular special guests: Nic Cecire – one of the most elegantly grooving drummers around\, and Adem Yilmaz – an absolute wizard on eastern percussion. Both bring their own swagger to The catholics’ blend of toe-tapping old favourites and beguiling recent compositions. Plus\, we’re premiering another new tune! \nFeaturing the cream of Australia’s musical talent\, The Catholics’ performances are infectiously joyous celebrations.
