Sandy has been described as ‘one of the best contemporary jazz composers/musicians.’ She is a foundational figure in Australian jazz\, leading a number of ground-breaking bands since the early 1980s and for many years exploring Indian classical music from her jazz perspective. Andrea has established and composed for a diverse range of influential ensembles\, drawing on a deep love for\, and knowledge of classical music.
